(TargetLiberty.org) – A Planned Parenthood branch in Spokane, WA, is suing a local church for antisocial noise and harm to the clinic’s customers. The church’s pastor branded the claim as “false accusations across the board.” The clinic wants the church to stop holding open-air services outside the clinic; the church says the clinic’s allegations are a huge distortion of the truth.
The Church At Planned Parenthood (TCAPP) has been operating for two years. It holds monthly services outside the Spokane abortion clinic, and PP says these services are too loud and “extremely unnerving for the patients.”
“It's really, really frustrating and should not be allowed to happen, when the laws are very clear in Washington state and the city of Spokane about interference with health care facilities. It’s extremely unnerving for the patients at Planned Parenthood.” https://t.co/AWRgdFoXjd

However, Pastor Ken Peters of TCAPP says this is false. The services don’t begin until after the clinic closes at 6 p.m., so there aren’t any patients there to unnerve. He also says Planned Parenthood organized protests and tried to drown out the church’s prayers and songs. Peters has already reduced the volume of the services and says he’s willing to start later if that reduces objections – but he’s not willing to stop highlighting the clinic’s provision of abortions.
