Gingrich, a consistent supporter of President Trump and author of four books about the president and his first administration, highlighted issues in Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin and his native Georgia. He told Fox News’s Jesse Watters that in Georgia, the secretary of state signed a consent decree that doesn’t allow Republican observers to check and verify absentee ballots. Calling the move “insane,” he slammed the lack of transparency that’s blighted this election.
Since election day, Gingrich has repeatedly urged the president to fight all the way. Accusing the Democrats of “building a machine to win no matter what,” he also encouraged Republicans to work hard at winning Georgia’s two Senate runoffs in January to maintain GOP control of the Senate.
